Interpretive Signs

Our April 21, 2012 celebration of Arbor Day included the official dedication of six elegant new interpretive signs for the site, the former home of Princeton Nurseries, followed by a guided tour.

The interpretive panels will help visitors understand the historic and cultural significance of the site through text, photos and maps, and were developed by Friends of Princeton Nursery Lands, with the assistance of a project grant for their design, fabrication and installation, funded by the New Jersey Historical Commission.

This is the first of the six panels.  Please plan a visit to the Preserve to see all six outdoor displays, and learn more about the rich history of the Princeton Nurseries Kingston site.
